Pouline Terpager serves as Director for International Policy at Danish Standards and acts as CEN and CENELEC Sherpa in the EU Commission’s ‘High-Level Forum for Standardization’. With a pivotal role in European and international standardization, Pouline Terpager is a member of the Technical Board of ISO – The International Standardisation Organisation – and actively contributes to strategic decisions within the Standing Committee on Policy and Strategy of CEN and CENELEC.
Pouline Terpager has been instrumental in establishing the European standardization framework for Artificial Intelligence, producing standards which will underpin the implementation of the forthcoming European AI Act. She has also participated in launching international standardization efforts for quantum technologies within ISO and IEC, and is currently engaged in elevating European initiatives on the Digital Product Passport to the international stage.
She has a background in the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs, and holds a Master’s degree in Political Science.
