HARDMAN
Prof. Dr. Lynda Hardman is Principal Researcher & Strategist at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica, the Dutch national research centre for Mathematics and Computer Science. She is full professor, part-time, of Multimedia Discourse Interaction at Utrecht University, the Netherlands.
She is the chair of the European COST Scientific Committee and chair of the Scientific and Technical Advisory Council of Surf - the national IT cooperative for education and research. She was the president of Informatics Europe, a community of European leaders in computer science research, 2016-2017. During her time as board member, she founded the working group Women in Informatics Research and Education. Prof. Hardman was named ACM Distinguished Scientist in 2014 and is a Fellow of the British Computer Society.
