FISHBERG

Rachel Fishberg is a postdoctoral researcher at the Aarhus University Danish Centre for Studies in Research and Research Policy (CFA) and a Science Diplomacy Fellow at the Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies. Her work examines how research policies operate globally, nationally, and institutionally, and how they influence knowledge production and collaborative research amid shifting academic and geopolitical conditions.

In past research, she has explored how EU political priorities in research funding shape both the collaborative dynamics of large-scale international EU-funded research and the knowledge these collaborations produce. Her research has also addressed topics such as research integrity, ethics, and the organisational dynamics of universities, analysing how related policies and management practices influence academic work.

At present, she studies the role of universities within the ecosystem of science diplomacy and how nationally outlined research security initiatives are articulated and implemented in university settings.
