Witalij Suprun is a lawyer and political scientist with a PhD from Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. He holds an MA in International Relations, specializing in Security and Strategic Studies, and an LL.M. in Criminal Law from the University of Warsaw and Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. His academic experience includes affiliations with institutions such as the Polish Academy of Sciences, University of Warsaw, University of Edinburgh, University of Alberta, Central European University, and the College of Europe in Natolin.
Dr. Suprun has served as an expert within the EU Science Diplomacy Working Group under the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation at the European Commission, contributing to the definition, principles, and added value of European science diplomacy. Beyond scholarly and expert work, he has held positions in public service, including chief specialist at the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and legal counsel at the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council.
