Laurent Corbeil holds a PhD in History from McGill University, specializing in Colonial Latin America. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has taught numerous courses in Canada and the USA. Since 2018, Laurent has been working in international relations within the research sector, for the Université du Québec à Montréal and for the Fonds de recherche du Québec, aiming to increase and improve the internationalization of academic research conducted in Quebec as well as its impact on policy and decision making.
