Johanna Ketola works currently as a project researcher at the University of Turku (political science). Her research interests cover issues related to cross-border crisis management and evidence-based policy-making in foreign affairs. She has worked in various research positions in academia and the think tank sector. Moreover, she has over 10 years of work experience in foreign policy and international affairs having worked at the Finnish MFA and for the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia with topics related to multilateralism, development cooperation, and confidence-building activities, especially in the post-Soviet space.
