HELBIG
DAAD Vicepresident and President Technische Hochschule Lübeck
Dr. Muriel Helbig was born in 1975 in Washington, DC. She studied psychology at the University of Potsdam. She completed her doctorate in 2006 in an international DFG graduate program at the Friedrich-Schiller-University in Jena. Her career path involved working as an advisor for graduate funding (University of Jena) and Head of International Relations (Bauhaus University Weimar). Since 2014 she is President of Technische Hochschule Lübeck (University of Applied Sciences). Dr. Helbig has been Vice President of the DAAD since 2020. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Universität zu Lübeck.
